Hamburg Games Conference 2017, powered by GRAEF Rechtsanwälte, was once again a great success. This year, the focus was on the topic of “Storytelling”. One thing is clear: The interconnectedness of the audiovisual industries of film and games is on the rise and “stories” speak to us differently than bare facts; they surprise and touch us, are fun and stay in our memories. They are therefore a powerful tool for the games and media industry.

As part of a succession plan, the investment company Nord Holding has acquired Fritz Hiltl Hosenfabrik. The seller was the community of heirs of the former shareholder Hedwig Hiltl. For the Nord Holding transaction, the brothers brought in Schramm Meyer Kuhnke and Graef, additional boutiques that had been founded in recent years as spin-offs from larger units.
